4th of July-

The night before the 4th Addison had their firework show. We weren’t planning on attending, but as we were driving past the galleria we thought we’d stop in an empty parking lot and just see if we could see them. We were LUCKY, we could see them perfectly. We turned on the music that had been choreographed for the shows and watched them with the boys. It was a perfect night.

The adorable Gap shirts are thanks to Donna, and I absolutely love them, the boys looked so cute in them. We had a big backyard bar-b-que (that’s how texans say it) and spent the afternoon swimming. That evening Richard took the boys to buy some fire works, even though it’s illegal, he knew the boys would love them.

Lucas however didn’t love the big loud ones. You can see the his face as the first big ground fire cracker went off. Needless to say after that he was finished. It was funny to see him freak out.

Lucas is 3

Lucas’s birthday was so much fun. We took the kids to see Night at the Museum and then Richard bought him a pool for the backyard. We spent most of the afternoon putting it up, but it was funny because the boys were so excited to go swimming they both stripped down naked, I’m really not sure why but I guess there boys, and started using the pool as a slip in slid. I was kind of glad they got to do that since it took all night to fill the pool with water. We then had an ice cream cake and opened presents. Lucas looks so tired in his picture because I think it wasn’t till like 9 p.m. that we final got to the cake. Donna sent the boys the worlds biggest box of toys, goodies, clothes, and all kinds of other stuff. I love that you can see Lucas had to practically climb in the box to get his gifts out. It was so cute. The batman house was what he got with his gift card from Donna. Also a VERY BIG THANK YOU to Grandmother and Papa Lucas picked out this Rocket Ship that is just incredible, sorry I haven’t taken a picture of them with it yet, but between the Rocket Ship and Batman I have had a lot of free time lately. :-) It was a great birthday.

San Antonio

I haven't been blogging because for some crazy reason blogger doesn't want to work with our MAC, but today I figure out it will let me post picks if I do them in twos, so here are a few from our trip to San Antonio.
